Checkin is used to coordinate events and record event participation. By signing in or checking in to an event using the Application, you consent to the collection, processing, and storage of your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

To support event check-ins and volunteer milestone recognition, we process the following information:
🔐 Account & Profile Information
When signing in via third-party authentication providers (Google, GitHub, Microsoft, or Facebook) or email link, we receive your email address, display name, and optional profile picture. This information is used strictly to identify your account, display your participant profile, and assign appropriate permissions.
📋 Event Attendance & Milestone Records
- Attendance Logs: Record of events you checked into, timestamps, and check-in status.
- Volunteer Badges: Milestone achievement badges earned through event participation.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use your information strictly for event organization, including:
- Recording and confirming event check-ins.
- Tracking volunteer participation and awarding milestone badges.
- Providing event attendance summaries to event organizers.
4. Information Security
All data is encrypted in transit over secure connections (HTTPS/TLS) and stored in protected database environments with strict access controls restricted to authorized event organizers.
5. Third-Party Data Sharing
We do NOT sell, rent, monetize, or share your personal information with advertisers or commercial third parties.
Information is shared only with cloud hosting and infrastructure providers necessary to run the Application.
6. Your Rights & Account Deletion
You retain full control over your personal information:
- Profile Management: You can view and edit your name and profile details anytime in the app.
- Account & Data Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated attendance data directly through the app's profile settings.
